For independent fresh grocers

ShelfToPot turns today's hard-to-sell produce into a dinner bundle your customers order in the group chat.

Snap one photo. In about a minute you get a poster and a ready-to-paste order message with price, quantity limit and cut-off time — for WhatsApp or WeChat groups.

How it works

Three steps, under 60 seconds of your time.

  1. 1

Snap the produce you need to clear

Take a photo, or tick it from your usual items — one to three at a time.

  2. 2

Confirm price and how many bundles

You set the price. Last time's price fills in, so it's usually one tap.

  3. 3

Save the poster and post it to your group

Customers order by replying with the bundle's name.

Why a bundle beats a markdown

A bundle pairs slow stock with items that sell, with a clear price, portion and cut-off, so customers decide right away.

Who it's for

ShelfToPot is built for grocers who set their own prices and carry their own waste.

For

Independent fresh grocers who set their own prices and have produce to clear most days.

Not yet for

Group-buy organisers without their own stock, wet-market stalls, large supermarket chains.

How we measure results

We only count orders that name the bundle, and we show extra profit as a range with a confidence level — never a falsely precise number.

  • Orders: customers reply with today's bundle name, so they can be counted.
  • Extra profit: estimated from your cost price and what you'd normally do with the stock.
  • A weekly summary of orders, estimated extra profit and waste.

FAQ

What is ShelfToPot?

ShelfToPot is a phone web tool for independent fresh grocers: photograph the produce you need to clear and get a dinner-bundle poster plus an order message, with price, quantity limit and cut-off, ready for your customer group chat.

Do I need to install an app?

You don't need to install an app to use ShelfToPot: it runs in your phone's browser from a link, and you can add it to your home screen.

Who sets the price?

With ShelfToPot, you always set the price: it can suggest one and show your margin, but it never sets or changes a price, and only prices you confirm appear on the poster.

Could I end up selling at a loss?

ShelfToPot shows the expected margin per bundle when you enter a cost price, asks you to confirm twice if the price is below cost, and warns you when the discount is over 40%.

Can anyone see my cost price?

Customers never see your cost price: ShelfToPot uses it only to calculate margin, and it never appears on posters or order messages.

How does pricing work after the trial?

ShelfToPot is free during the pilot, and we'll tell you the price well before the 14-day trial ends. You decide then whether to pay.
